- Polynucleartide Preparation: One-step Genotyping
- Introduction
- Allele-In-One Mouse Tail / Human Blood Genotyping System, which is based on our specifically formulated Allele-In-One Mouse Tail / Mouse tail Direct Lysis Buffer, Allele-In-One PCR Mastermix, and high performance Genomic DNA Purification System, will be your ideal tools for quick, convinient, low-cost, yet high-quality genotying research.
- Allele-In-One Mouse Tail / Human Blood Direct Lysis Buffer contains a combination of enzyme(s), detergents, and other chemical reagents that will lyse the mouse tail tissues or human blood cells, and release genomic DNA in a one-step reaction (incubate at 55oC for 2hr). After a blief centrifuge, the supernatant can be directly used as template in a genotyping PCR reaction. No phenol extraction, precipitation, or any further purification is not necessary.
- Allele-In-One PCR MasterMix is suggested to be used in combination with the lysis buffer, which is specifically formulated to accomodate DNA template from lysis buffer that contains proteases, such as Allele-In-One Mouse Tail / Human Blood Direct Lysis Buffer. However, you still can optimize your current PCR system for use with our lysis buffer, in hand with our lysis buffer, as many of our customers have successfully done .
- For certain experiments that may require purified genomic DNA, e.g. SNP assays, Allele Genomic DNA Purfication System is recommended after lysing mouse tail samples with our Allele-In-One Mouse Tail Direct Lysis Buffer.
- This buffer can also be used to prepare genomic DNA for direct PCR from other tissues, such as mouse ear, rat tissues, etc. Slight adjustment and optimization may be needed for each type of tissue.
- Features
- Simple buffer system: Unique from Allele Biotech Enzymes, this single buffer system is the only product that contains everything for lysis, no need to add protease K or any other components before use.
- Single step reaction: The incubation is to be performed at a convenient 50-55oC temperature for 0.5 hours or longer, and the lysate is ready for PCR.
- Consistent: Works with extremely high success rates and is fully guaranteed if used in combination with Allele-In-One PCR MasterMix system.
- Lowering cost: Adds only 40 cents or less to each genotyping sample while saving enormous amounts of material and time from traditional methods.
